Salmon Box

This is a commissioned piece. I will be posting my progress on this. It is a salmon skin and moose hide trinket box. Measures approximately 2inches square. Progress on new beadwork

No beading yesterday, boo. Today I spent a few hours working on this piece. I like where this is going.  I am thinking it wants me to change the head. I have penciled in a more rounded head and ears. We shall see how it feels as I go along.  

Breaking out the gold beads!

Well, I have made some progress. Decided not to use the gold saucer beads flat, turned them on their sides. Much better. It is starting to tell me where I’m going. Cute little guy. Still unsure what the final form will be.
