Follow Along Day 5

No beading yesterday, bummer. I got a good bit done today. This piece is filling in nicely. Enjoy.

This is 3 hours of beading. I put down 3 beads at a time, go back through those beads, then lay a stitch between every-other bead to keep them in place. After I have finished a complete row around I go through each bead again.

This is a commissioned piece. I will be posting my progress on this. It is a salmon skin and moose hide trinket box. Measures approximately 2inches square. I have finished the backing and edging! I have added some gold dangles to the neckline. In honor of her cute nose I will name her “OPAL” Thanks for following along.

Beading, beading, beading…..

I got a few hours of beading done the last two days. This piece is starting to come to life! I have not done a small piece in quite awhile. I am amazed at how fast this going.

Breaking out the gold beads!

Well, I have made some progress. Decided not to use the gold saucer beads flat, turned them on their sides. Much better. It is starting to tell me where I’m going. Cute little guy. Still unsure what the final form will be.
