I started this piece a few days ago. Spent hours searching my stash for just the right pieces. Then I went thru the seed beads to get the perfect mix of colors to use. Got out my heavy felt and aida cloth and began placement of the main pieces. This is where I always need to walk away, come back, rearrange, go get more seed beads…. takes longer than it should. I am happy with this and I think it will be a nice piece. I will post more as I progress.

I sure know what you mean by “walking away” and coming back several times. I do that all the time. I love the colors, reminds me of a Blue and Gold macaw feathers.
