New bead project

After looking at this bead art for 2 weeks I am certain that it is finished!  Framing bead embroidery is a challenge.  Shadow boxes are nice, but seem to hide the work.  I like the open frame on bead embroidery but, worry about dust, hair , and other environmental problems.

I have started my newest project, it is for a juried show in March.  I hope to have it done in a few weeks.  Here is sneak peek of it.

I am doing research on a project I have lined up… it involves palm trees.  I have no first hand experience with palm trees, but looking at all of the internet images is fun while I sit here looking out my front window.  30 below, snow and no palm trees!

  1. Palm trees are like growing pineapples in so many ways. And one of the most unlikely looking types of vegetation. Maybe you need a trip to the Islands of Hawaii to gain experience? ‘Nother subject: I agree, The cabin is finished. I vote for glass over but that’s because I know it would get dust (lots of it) and pet hair (lots of it) and be stained by smoke (wood, candle and other) in my cabin.
